Fan Tables at Spikecon
(Form on the bottom of this page)
"Hello, I am Gary Blog and I will be your Fan Table Coordinator for the Utah for 2019 NASFiC, Westercon 72 and 1632 Minicon, also known as Spikecon.
In addition to being the Fan Table Coordinator, I will be running the D.C. in 2021 Worldcon bid table. This means I will not only have information for you, but will be among you for the duration of the convention to assist. I hope this reassures you about my commitment, the convention’s goal to help you, and our desire to see your fan table succeed.
Fan Tables at Spikecon are free. However, everyone who will staff them must be an attending member of Spikecon. Fan tables are used to advertise conventions, fan events, or related organizations (usually non-profit based). You may not sell anything at these tables except memberships and your organization's swag. You may not sell professional merchandise, as it would conflict with that being sold in the dealer's room. In addition, the space where the fan tables will be set up will be in an area that will be open later than general times so it is recommended that you pack up your table or any belongings you wish to safe keep, nightly.
I will be taking requests between now and May 1, 2019 for a list to facilitate once the final number and options for tables are decided. All people running a fan table at the 2019 event will be required to have a membership to the convention. The earlier you can verify you want a fan table, the easier it will be to assign once the numbers available are set, as well as coordinating the number of tables, space, and your groups needs.
- Name of your organization
- Type of function and focus of your group (501(c)(3) or fan group, convention etc.)
- The location of your group
- Contact Name and email address
I will confirm by email once your request has been received. You can also keep up with any potential news by signing up for our convention newsletter at:
Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you in Layton, Utah, July 4-7th, 2019."

Fan Tables are a fantastic way for groups, conventions and organizations to embrace the community, say hello to the convention and promote a vital part of fandom.
