Rockets & Rails Tour
July 8th, 2019
Westercon 72, NASFiC 2019, 1632 Minicon & Manticon 2019 (Spikecon), has found a wonderful tour host to provide collaboration for an off-site excursion post-convention.
You must be an attending member of Spikecon. We are looking at group individual transport. If we get enough interest we may be able to do a charter bus. There are questions here to let us know if you can drive, take a couple of people, willing to pitch in, or others. Thank you for your patience and thank you Eden Lustgarden for coordinating.
ALL ABOARD! Utah has served as the crossroads of the West and a connection to the cosmos. The Transcontinental Railroad was completed and Space Shuttle Rockets were developed right next door to each other (a century apart). We will be guided through the ATK Rocket Garden by a Rocket Engineer, explore the Golden Spike National Historic Site and finish up with a group lunch at a quaint, 100 year old restaurant in Brigham City.
